BJP MLAs demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now-cancelled Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22. All BJP MLAs have been thrown out of the House by the Lieutenant Governor. These MLAs were creating ruckus in the midst of LG’s speech. LG VK Saxena has praised Kejriwal government in his speech. He said that despite many obstacles, the Kejriwal government has done good things.
At the same time, ‘AAP’ MLAs raised slogans against the BJP as soon as the Lt Governor’s address began. Following the uproar, Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel ordered marshals to take three BJP MLAs out of the House. After this, the address of the Lieutenant Governor started again.
